ZTE Libero Flip launches as a particularly affordable foldable with a round secondary display and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1

Inside the smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 which combines four ARM Cortex-A710 performance cores with clock speeds of up to 2.4 GHz with four Cortex-A510 efficiency cores clocking at 1.8 GHz. Despite the flip phone form factor, ZTE installed a relatively large 4,310 mAh battery, which can be charged via USB-C with up to 33 watts. The casing is only IP4X certified, i.e. not water-resistant. The Libero Flip comes with Android 13.

Prices and availability

The ZTE Libero Flip will be launched in Japan on February 29, 2024. The device will cost just 39,800 yen (approx. 246 euros) with a launch discount, while the recommended retail price is 63,000 yen (approx. 389 euros). The device is only available with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB flash memory.
