Wind Warning
A Wind Advisory and Gale Warning are currently in effect until Saturday afternoon for much of West Michigan and parts of Lake Michigan. This advisory and warning are being issued due to strong winds expected in the area.
Residents and visitors are advised to take caution and be prepared for potentially hazardous conditions. The strong winds can cause damage to trees, power lines, and property. It is important to secure any loose objects or outdoor furniture that may be vulnerable to the high winds.
Additionally, boaters and those planning to be on the water should exercise extreme caution. The Gale Warning indicates that winds of 34 to 47 knots are expected, which can create very rough seas. It is recommended to stay ashore and avoid any unnecessary risks until the warning is lifted.
