Digital Extremes Reveals Updates for Warframe and Soulframe in Latest Devstream

Digital Extremes shared significant updates for both Warframe and Soulframe in its latest double Devstream, offering a sneak peek into future content and honoring a key contributor.

Warframe Updates:

• Warframe: 1999: Set for release in December, this chapter will introduce the Infested Adversaries System, featuring new rewards and a musical twist with the Technocyte Coda boss types. The update is dedicated to the late Mike ‘Mynki’ Brennan, Warframe’s first Art Director (Obituary available here)
• Prequel Webcomic: In November, a new webcomic will explore the early days of the Hex Syndicate, expanding the lore of Warframe.
• Xaku Prime: Launching November 13, Xaku Prime brings new weapons and a stylish Operator suit. Trinity and Nyx will also receive updates to enhance their gameplay viability.
• Gameplay Enhancements: Players can look forward to customizing the Atomicycle with new skins and enjoying mini-games like Caliber Chicks, a 90s-style arcade game.

Soulframe Developments:

• Preludes Pre-Alpha: Set to widen public access in 2025, the Soulframe team is increasing invite availability, with current players soon to receive codes for friends and family.
• Game Progression: Updates on combat mechanics, skill acquisition, crafting, and visual improvements were discussed. New weapons and overworld encounters, such as Sparrow’s Tales, are being added to enrich the gameplay experience.
