Emma Watson "fell in love" with Tom Felton while filming Harry Potter
Emma Watson has spoken about falling "in love" with her Harry Potter co-star Tom Felton during the filming of the hugely popular movie franchise.
The pair, who portrayed Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy across the eight movies, have been subject to dating rumours in the past, though clarified during the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts reunionthat nothing ever actually happened romantically.
However, also while speaking during the special – which is set to be broadcast on New Year's Day (January 1) – Watson recalled the moment she developed a crush on Felton.

"I walked into the room where we were having tutoring," she began.
"The assignment that had been given was to draw what you thought God looked like and Tom had drawn a girl with a backward cap on a skateboard. And I just don't know how to say it – I just fell in love with him."
Watson then sweetly added of her feelings for her co-star: "I used to come in every day and look for his number on the call sheet. It was number seven, and if his name was on the call sheet, it was an extra exciting day."

She went on to stress that nothing "ever, ever, ever" happened between them in a romantic sense, but admitted they "just love each other" now (just not romantically).
Felton said of discovering Watson's crush: "I think I was in the hair and make-up chair and someone said something along the lines of, 'Yeah, she had a crush on you.'
He continued: "I became very protective over her. Yeah, I've always had a soft spot for her and that continues to this day."
