Rapid Recap Seahawks defeat Bears on Thursday Night Football
In a game that featured 13 punts and no touchdowns, the Bears lost to the Seahawks 6-3 Thursday night at Soldier Field. Here’s what transpired in the home finale.

But on fourth-and-10 from the Seahawks' 40, Williams' jump ball intended for Allen was intercepted by cornerback Riq Woolen at the 22 with :11 remaining.

Statistically speaking

Williams completed 16 of 28 passes for 122 yards and a 53.0 passer rating and rushed for 37 yards on five carries. His streak without an interception ended on the Bears' final play after it had reached 353 pass attempts dating back to Week 6.

Swift led the Bears in rushing with 53 yards on 12 attempts.

The Bears defense held the Seahawks to 265 total yards and 12 first downs.

"This morning in the team meeting I asked all three phases to play their best together at one time," interim head coach Thomas Brown said. "I thought special teams played extremely well. I thought the defense played their butts off the entire night. And the offense was not good enough, which starts with me as far as the game plan that I had coming into this game, having those guys ready to go. We had plenty of opportunities to win it."

Up next

The Bears will close the season next weekend against the Packers in Green Bay. The date and time of the game will be announced Sunday night.
