Manx actor Joe Locke has been nominated for a prestigious award for his role in a Marvel TV show. 

Locke's up for best breakthrough performance in a new scripted series at the Independent Spirit Awards. 

The actor's in the running for his role as Wiccan in Agatha All Along which aired on Disney Plus earlier this year.

The Douglas-born man reacted by posting the news to Instagram with the caption 'Woweeeeee!'
