Although the actress has never commented publicly on her relationship, she has been reportedly dating restauranteur Jonathan Davino for nearly four years. Rumors of their engagement first started swirling on Monday, February 28, after Sydney was photographed in Los Angeles rocking a huge diamond on her ring finger. Although the actress has not commented on the ring and still has not addressed her engagement, fans sounded off on social media.
The two were first spotted together in 2018Sydney and Jonathan were first photographed together at an InStyle and Kate Spade dinner in Los Angeles on October 23, 2018.
But there have been no photos of the couple since, apart from paparazzi snaps of them vacationing and running errands, as Sydney prefers to keep her love life under wraps. “I don’t date people in the spotlight,” Sydney told Cosmopolitan in her February 2022 cover interview. “I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest.”
Jonathan is 37 years old and Sydney is 24 years old, which means they have a 13-year age gap.
He is based in ChicagoAccording to Cosmopolitan UK, Jonathan lives in Chicago, where his family owns the long-standing Italian restaurant, Pompei.
In an interview with Elite Daily in 2019, Sydney hinted at settling down in the Windy City one day. When the interviewer asked who she knew in Chicago, Sydney coyly responded, “A friend.”
