Johnny Depp was given a warm welcome on Sunday as he arrived in Milan, after admitting he holds 'no ill will' towards anyone following his acrimonious divorce from Amber Heard.
The Hollywood actor found himself surrounded by fans after landing in the Italian fashion capital ahead of a TV interview.
Depp, 61, has emerged from a professional wilderness of sorts after winning his civil defamation trial against ex-wife Heard in 2022.
The actor has since returned to work, with his five decade-long career recently acknowledged at the Rome Film Festival, where he was honored with a lifetime achievement award.
Arriving in Milan, Depp appeared to be in high spirits while posing for photos and signing autographs, before climbing into the rear of a waiting car.

The actor recently admitted he doesn't want the 'baggage' of openly resenting anyone - two years after ending his highly-publicised, contentious legal war against Heard.
'Honestly, I can sit here this very second and think about all the hit pieces, and how everybody was against me, and yeah yeah yeah he is off the map … endless stuff,' the troubled 61-year-old recalled to THR on Saturday.
'I can remember it all. Went through it all. Some of it was not the most beautiful time, some of it was hilarious. Some of it was mad.
'The thing is, it simply just was, and it simply just is. So, for me, it happened. I learned, man.'
He added: 'Everything that we experience, whether you're given a snow cone or walking your dog, you learn something somewhere along the way.
'So I don't have any ill feelings toward anyone. I don't have this great reserve of hatred, because hatred requires caring. Why carry that baggage?'
Depp admitted being in the 'vast wilderness' taught him 'a lot' and he was relieved to disappear in portraying characters onscreen 'especially when things are crumbling all around.'
'Everything has been … it has really, it just is. And on some level, it is gonna be around, that kind of thing. It's like OJ or something. But hey, it just happened. That's all,' he said.

Heard was found liable in all three matters of defamation raised while Johnny was only found liable in one of three matters of defamation raised - and her insurer eventually forked over $1million to Depp, which he pledged to donate to charities.
And while there was no evidence of the Johnny Puff: Secret Mission actor abusing anything but kitchen cabinets during the trial, there was plenty of evidence of him in the ER in Australia after the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom actress threw a bottle of booze at him and severed the tip of his finger.
'You didn't get punched; you got hit. I'm sorry I hit you like this, but I did not punch you,' Heard admitted in an audio recording.

'I did not f***ing deck you. I f***ing was hitting you. I don't know what the motion of my actual hand was. But you're fine. I did not hurt you. I did not punch you. I was hitting you.
'I'm not sitting here bi***ing about it, am I? You are. That's the difference between me and you. You're a f***ing baby. You are such a baby. Grow the f*** up, Johnny.'
The couple were only married for 15 months before their acrimonious $7million divorce in 2017 amid back-and-forth abuse allegations.

Depp's biopic on Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani - set over three days in Paris circa 1916 - is based on Dennis McIntyre's 1980 three-act play Modigliani.
The actor made his feature directorial debut in 1997 helming his dismally-reviewed drama The Brave starring himself and Marlon Brando, which was never released in the States.
'The Brave didn't go so well,' the En Aranjuez Con Tu Amor performer admitted.
'I remember very well the comedown of the critics on The Brave, and all it did was make me understand. What do you do? You learn from that.'
In January, Depp will reunite with his two-time director Terry Gilliam to portray Satan in his forthcoming film The Carnival at the End of Days alongside Jeff Bridges, Adam Driver, and Jason Momoa.
