Does Johnny Depp Still Need Hollywood?

Johnny Depp’s fall from grace was far from being graceful. In a twinkle of an eye, he lost his role as Grindelwald in the ‘Harry Potter’ spinoff ‘Fantastic Beasts’ and his highly acclaimed role in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean.’

However, this was not all he lost. He lost his reputation, his contacts and became a sort of pariah in Hollywood.

He made his comeback to the film industry in 2023 with the French-language movie, ‘Jeanne Du Barry,’ but it was not a very strong comeback. This may have possibly inspired him to shift focus from working in front of the lens to behind it, leading him to direct ‘Modi: Three Days On the Wings of Madness.’

So far, he’s received a lot of praise for his contributions to the project, but after this, what’s next for him?

Should he reconcile with the studios and execs who dumped him...
