Start time for Jake Paul vs Mike Perry fight
Are personalities like Jake Paul making fighting better? Michael Bisping weighs in
UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping weighs in on personalities who are trying to enter the combat fighting space like Jake Paul, and the pros and cons that come with it.
Jake Paul is back in the ring this Saturday, just not against Mike Tyson, the opponent most expected him to be facing.
Paul's bout against Tyson was originally scheduled for this weekend, but after the fight was postponed to November, Paul decided to keep the July 20 fight date and take on BKFC's Mike Perry in preparation for this winter's megafight.
Since his professional debut in 2020, Paul has quickly ascended to become one of the best-selling names in boxing. Despite not yet fulfilling his wish to become a true competitor in the professional boxing landscape, Paul has hosted some of the biggest boxing events of the past few years, consistently drawing strong gates wherever he fights.
Paul's opponent on Saturday initially competed in the UFC, but after his contract expired in 2021, Perry signed with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and has quickly become one of the promotion's biggest stars, starting 5-0 with three knockouts.
Here's when the fighters are expected to make their ring walks on Saturday.

More: Why Jake Paul is fighting Mike Perry Saturday and not Mike Tyson
Mike Tyson and Jake Paul were originally scheduled to fight Saturday, but an injury to Tyson caused a postponement.
The fight was not canceled though — it merely has been moved back to Nov. 15.
The fight still will take place at AT&T Stadium in Dallas and stream live on Netflix, free for all subscribers. The co-main event rematch between undisputed junior welterweight champion Katie Taylor and unified featherweight champion Amanda Serrano remains the chief support for the main event.
