Reuters reports GlaxoSmithKline is recalling the popular heartburn medicine Zantac in all markets. The pharmaceutical giant said it was doing so as a “precaution.\" The announcement came days after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration found “unacceptable” levels of probable cancer-causing impurity in the drug. Zantac is also sold generically as ranitidine.
