Hans Zimmer announces 2024 orchestral tour, including Madison Square Garden on his birthday

As teased, Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer has announced a North American orchestral tour. “I’m thrilled to return to perform in North America with my wonderful band and excited to share this phenomenal show,” says Zimmer. “I love this feeling of uniting my family of extraordinary musicians with you, the audience. Just an unbelievable group of talents, who in my opinion, are some of the best musicians in the world. But nothing would have meaning without the good grace and support of you, the other part of the family – the audience. Ultimately, the music connects us all, and I promise you this: we will always play our best, straight from the heart.”

This is Zimmer’s first North American tour in seven years, and the first since he composed the scores for Dune 1 & 2. The tour, featuring Zimmer and his band with a full orchestra, will feature newly arranged concerts suites for Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, The Lion King, The Last Samurai, Dune and more.

The tour kicks off September 6 in Duluth, GA, and wraps up October 6 in Vancouver. His NYC show is at Madison Square Garden on September 12 which will be Zimmer’s 67th birthday. Tickets for all dates go on sale March 22 at 10 AM local time. Check out the full schedule below.
