What's open and closed on Family Day in Toronto

On Monday, some businesses and services will be closed to the public due to Family Day 2022.

Here’s what you can expect to be open and closed:

Banks

Most grocery stores

The LCBO

The Beer Store

Library services

City services, and garbage collection

What’s open on Family Day?

Most major malls (reduced hours may occur)

Most theatres and museums

Select grocery stores (reduced hours may occur)

The Toronto Zoo

Most pharmacies (reduced hours may occur)

Transit services

All TTC routes will operate on their Sunday service schedules. Any bus routes that do not normally operate on Sundays, will not operate on Family Day. GO Transit will be running on a Saturday schedule.
