When will Toronto see the solar eclipse Heres everything you
Here are the best places to watch the solar eclipse in Toronto, the kind of glasses you need, and what happens to your eyes when you look directly at the sun.

For two hours in the afternoon on Monday, the city will be blanketed with darkness as a partial solar eclipse envelops Toronto and the GTA.

Those lucky enough to be in the “path of totality,” like in Niagara or nearby Hamilton, will be able to view the whole thing.

In Toronto, residents will see the moon block out 99.8 per cent of the sun. The near-total solar eclipse can be seen from most places in the city between 2:04 p.m. and 4:31 p.m., according to the city’s website, with the eclipse peaking at 3:19 p.m.
