Here's When New Episodes of Death and Other Details Drop

Hulu has a brand new murder mystery for you to watch this winter: Death and Other Details, starring Violett Beane and Mandy Patinkin, premiered today.

The show follows Imogene (Beane), a thief who is in the wrong place at the wrong time when someone is murdered on board a luxury Mediterranean cruise, and she must turn to the so-called world's greatest detective, Rufus (Patinkin), for help—even though she despises him. It's a fun, twisty locked room mystery, and one that will leave you guessing the real culprit until the very end.

When thinking about Rufus in comparison to other famous fictional detectives (think: Jessica Fletcher or Hercules Poirot), co-creator Heidi Cole McAdams tells Town & Country, "Rufus is more human—He makes mistakes. He's incredibly intelligent, but he is fallible. and I feel like that is the big kind of difference from the inspirations before us. Part of that you just get by having Mandy play him, because Mandy is so human and so real. Part of it is the character himself: He doesn't have all the answers. He's trying to find them, but he doesn't have them."

Hulu typically drops new episodes at midnight pacific time (3 a.m. eastern time), so by the time you wake up on Tuesdays this winter, there will be a new episode for you. The first two episodes premiered today, and the rest will release weekly until a two-episode season finale on March 5. Here, a guide to the first season of Death and Other Details:
