Dead by Daylight Day Is A Time To Celebrate In The Fog
It’s time to celebrate Dead by Daylight Day in The Fog, with new challenges to complete, rewards to unlock, and good vibes all around.

Since 2022, our friends in Japan have been celebrating DbD Day, also known as Dedoba-no-hi ("デドバの日). For those who might not be familiar, October 18th can be read in Japanese as 10 (de), 10 (do) and 8 (ba), which resembles the common Dead by Daylight abbreviation Dedoba.

While DbD Day initially began as a way for our Japanese community to share their love for the game, it was eventually certified as a memorial day by the Japan Anniversary Association. Now, we use the moment to celebrate our community around the world, spreading the DbD Day vibes to our entire player base.

When the Haunted by Daylight Event kicks off on October 17th, the Event Tome will include a separate track filled with 8 DbD Day challenges. Note that these challenges will not progress the Halloween track, but completing them will reward you with up to 8 Cosmetics for the following characters:

  • Dwight Fairfield
  • Meg Thomas
  • Claudette Morel
  • Jake Park
  • Yui Kimura
  • Adam Francis
  • The Spirit
  • The Oni

Whenever a Cosmetic is unlocked, you’ll also receive a haul of 25k Bloodpoints. Enticing, wouldn’t you agree?

That’s not all – we’ll be sharing a few promo codes on our social media pages during this celebration , so keep an eye out for those. In the meantime, enjoy the Dead by Daylight Day festivities – we couldn’t do it without you.

See you in The Fog,

The Dead by Daylight Team
