Luca Guadagnino and A24 Unveil Final 'Queer' Trailer Ahead of Box-Office Debut
Following the release of Omar Apollo‘s song “Te Maldigo” as part of the singer’s acting debut in Luca Guadagnino‘s Queer, A24 has released a final trailer offering a deeper look into the surreal gay romance.
At the start of the trailer, eager fans finally get more previews of Omar Apollo’s role in the movie, including a sensual scene with Daniel Craig. However, furthermore, viewers get a proper glimpse at Drew Starkey and fs blossoming relationship as William Lee and Eugene Allteron, respectively. Queer is Guadagnino’s adaptation of William S. Burroughs’ famous novel detailing the hedonic and romantic pursuits of a gay American expat in 1950s Mexico City.
The new trailer shows more of the surreal touches Guadagnino is bringing to the screen, as well as scenes from the duo’s trip through South America, which takes a number of wild turns in the novel.
Queer hits select theaters tonight, November 26. Ticket information can be found at Fandango and other box-office ticket distributors. Stay tuned for updates on eventual streaming availability.
