WWE Legend Scott Hall Reportedly On Life Support
Wrestling icon Scott Hall is reportedly on life support following complications from hip replacement surgery.
According to Wade Keller of PWTorch, Scott Hall suffered three heart attacks on the night of March 12th and is currently on life support. These were the result of complications arising from the hip replacement surgery Hall underwent last week. Following the surgery, a blood clot got loose, leading to further issues.
Scott Hall began his career in the CWF in 1984, before moving to the AWA a year later, winding up in WCW in 1989. However, Hall found success hard to come by, breaking away from WCW at the end of year, heading to a number of promotions including New Japan Pro Wrestling.
More storiesBy 1991 he was back in WCW as the Diamond Studd, but it wasn’t until he switched to the WWF in 1992, that Hall got his big break. Wrestling as Razor Ramon, with a heavy influence of the character Tony Montana from Scarface, Hall rose up the card, enjoying numerous Intercontinental Championship reigns.
During this spell, Hall defeated Shawn Michaels in a highly acclaimed Ladder Match at WrestleMania X. In 1996, Scott Hall jumped back to WCW, launching an ‘invasion’ which included bringing in his friend Kevin Nash. Both men had left the WWF weeks earlier, following the now infamous ‘Curtain call.’
Reunited with Nash in WCW, the Outsiders were involved in one of the most famous angles in history at Bash at the Beach, where Hulk Hogan turned heel to join the pair, creating the nWo.
All three men returned to the WWF in 2002, before going their separate ways, Hall ending up in TNA, now known as IMPACT Wrestling.
Scott Hall was inducted into the WWE Hall of Famer as Razor Ramon in 2014, and again in the Class of 2020, as part of the nWo.
Everyone at Inside The Ropes would like to wish Scott Hall a speedy recovery.
