What’s hilarious is that Jeff tweeted that before Saquon ripped off another huge touchdown run, so the updated statistic is that Barkley has 1,392 rushing yards and the Giants have 1,275. Saquon’s number through 11 games is actually better than any single-season total he put up in six New York seasons.
Incredible stuff from Barkley, all season long. He ripped off a 70-yard touchdown run on Sunday night, which was his fourth run of 50+ yards this year. Then he scored on a 72-yard run later in the half. Between 2019 and 2023, the Eagles only had six of those total, so in a little more than half a season, Barkley is already 83% of the way to matching that.
To break it down a little further, the Giants don’t have anyone above 600 yards this season:
- Tyrone Tracy: 545 yards
- Devin Singletary: 343 yards
- Daniel Jones (former Giant): 265 yards
- Eric Gray: 26 yards
- Wan’Dale Robinson: 18 yards
- DREW LOCK: 13 yards
- Darius Slayton: 11 yards
That’s basically it. They’ve run Malik Nabers a handful of times, but he has -2 yards. Saquon also has 257 receiving yards, which puts him on a trajectory to have his second-best receiving year as well. He’s it baby!
