There were speculations about former NFL star Randy Moss’ health after he announced taking a break from his role as an NFL analyst for ESPN. Now Randy Moss has revealed his diagnosis to be cancer after his son Thaddeus Moss posted on his Instagram story that Randy would be coming live at 5pm ET yesterday to reveal what has been going on with his health.

Randy Moss Has Finally Spoken About Battling Cancer

When in the first week of December, Randy announced his break, he had revealed he was experiencing some health issue but did not actually reveal what it was. He announced he will be going on leave for few weeks and asked his fans to keep his name in prayers as he navigates through the pain. This left a lot of room for speculation as his fans became more and more concerned about his health and how is he doing. However, Moss and his family remained silent until few days ago when his son Thaddeus Moss posted a now deleted post on X where he expressed anger when Larry Fitzgerald Sr posted about wishing Randy well as he battles with cancer. This angered Thaddeus because this was a private family matter that was supposed to be dealt away from the media and family. Thaddeus however, later deleted the post where he expressed frustration and anger about private matters being leaked to the media like this.One can assume that the reason to reveal what has been happening with Randy Moss on an Instagram Live might have been influenced by Larry Fitzgerald Sr.’s leak on X. Before Randy Moss came live on Instagram, his son Thaddeus posted a story of standing next to his father who is lying down on a stretcher. Thaddeus can be heard day saying “Let’s see how many covers he (Randy) has got on”, he then counts each cover Randy has on him as he is lying down on a stretcher while Randy, who looks to be in a cheerful mood, places his bet on having 6 covers on himself. But as his son counts and goes beyond 6 covers, Randy can be heard saying, “Uh oh”, expressing his disappointment at not being able to guess the correct number of covers. Randy Moss Wishes To Go Back To Working Soon

Later at 5pm, Randy came live through his Instagram and accepted all the rumours that has been going around about his health. He spoke about having cancer ehich was found to be in between his pancreas and liver. However, fortunately, he has already had a 6 hour surgery and revealed that he had already been in the hospital for 6 days after his surgery and has gone home on 13th December. Moss also thanked his fans for keeping him in prayers and assured he will be back to work pretty soon. He said, “As soon as I get healthy to get back out with guys, I will be on set. ... Hopefully I can be with you guys soon. My goal is to get back on television with my team.”
