Canadiens add Lecavalier Bobrov to hockey operations department
The Montreal Canadiens announced the appointment of former Vincent Lecavalier as special advisor to hockey operations while Nick Bobrov was named co-director of amateur scouting.

The Montreal Canadiens have made two additions to their front office Friday morning.

General manager Kent Hughes announced the appointment of former Tampa Bay Lightning centreman Vincent Lecavalier as special advisor of hockey operations. Furthermore, the Canadiens have named Nick Bobrov as co-director of amateur scouting.

Bobrov worked alongside Jeff Gorton during his time as director of European scouting at the New York Rangers from 2015 to 2021 and for the Boston Bruins from 2001 to 2006. The native of St. Petersburg, Russia will be working conjointly with Martin Lapointe, who will retain his current director of player personnel and co-director of amateur scouting positions.
