THE FIRST BERSERKER: KHAZAN Announces Release Date With Cinematic Trailer From The Russo Brothers
First announced at Gamescom back in August, The First Berserker: Khazan is a "hardcore action role-playing game" set in the Dungeon & Fighter universe. The initial teaser offered us a glimpse of the action-packed gameplay — a frantic hack-and-slash style mixed with hardcore action.
We haven't heard much about the game or its release date since the teaser announced an "early 2025" launch, but at The Game Awards we were not only treated with a new cinematic trailer, but also a release date and pre-order details.
The First Berserker: Khazan is officially set to launch on March 27, 2025. It will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC (Steam).
The announcement was accompanied by a cinematic trailer supervised by the renowned directing and producing duo, the Russo Brothers. Best known for their work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Russo Brothers worked with Nexon and Neople to create a trailer that showcases the intense action and dynamic, fast-paced combat of The First Berserker: Khazan.
With a release date now confirmed, we also now have the pre-order options for The First Bersker: Khazan. There's a Standard edition available both as physical an digital, as well as the digital-only Deluxe Edition. Here's what comes with each:
- Standard Edition ($59.99): Includes the Base Game and “Fallen Star” Armour Set.
- Deluxe Edition ($69.99): Includes the Base Game, “Fallen Star” Armor Set, “Hero” Armour and Weapon Sets, Digital Artbook & Soundtrack, and 72-Hour Early Access to Khazan.
The "Fallen Star" Armour Set is a pre-order exclusive only, and is not attainable through alternate means. The "Hero" Armor and Weapon Sets are available in all Deluxe Editions.
Although we're still a few months away from the release of The First Berserker: Khazan, fans can actually go hands-on with the game early thanks to a playable demo that's set to kick off on January 16, 2025. The demo will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S and will feature early stages of the game. Saved data can be transferred to the full game when it launches, meaning you can continue you progress where the demo leaves off.
