A power outage has been reported in Grande Prairie, according to ATCO. The outage is reportedly affecting the Westlake area of the city. It is estimated that more than 4,000 customers are affected by the current outage. Residents have reported a loss of power in most of Lakeland, North Ridge, the Grande Prairie Mall, and Avondale.
The cause of the outage is unknown at this time and is under investigation. ATCO says it is aware of the outages and crews hope to restore power by 1:30 p.m. today.
