Amazon halves price of great Google Pixel smartwatch but not for long
The handy smartwatch, which can help to track your exercise, heart rate and much more, is currently sitting at 55% off in the Amazon sale.

Investing in a good smartwatch is a great way to get a handle on your fitness, as they're great for tracking your exercise, monitoring your heart rate and much more.

And currently, the popular Google Pixel Watch 2 is at its lowest price ever on Amazon, with an impressive discount of 55 percent - but it won't last long, as the deal is only available for a limited time.

Shoppers can nab the smartwatch for the hugely reduced price of £179 down from £399, saving over £200. It boasts an average rating of 4.3 stars out of five, with customers hailing how useful it is when it comes to tracking fitness.

Combining the intelligence of Google with the health-tracking abilities of Fitbit, this smart watch is your one-stop shop to living a healthier and more active life.

It boasts Fitbit's most spot-on heart rate tracking function yet, thanks to three handy sensors that fit against your wrist when wearing the watch. These also help to track your temperature, taking note of variations that could be pinned down to menopause, your menstrual cycle, or changes in your overall wellness.

Instead of having to manually select your workouts like on other fitness watches, the Google Pixel watch boasts an auto-workout mode which automatically starts, pauses and finishes your workouts so all you need to do is focus on pushing yourself.

And if you've decided to get into running recently, like many people are choosing to do, you can get a helping hand with Pace Training - simply set a pace goal for your run and get real-time feedback and motivational indicators while you're out.

The watch can be paired to your wireless earphones via Bluetooth, or if you have the Pixel Buds, you can connect them even easier with Fast Pair. And it's not only for tracking fitness - you can access your favourite apps, music, messages and more via the watch, making it your ideal companion when you're out and about.

Shoppers have been loving the smartwatch, with one customer writing a five-star review saying: "I waited for a few years before getting my first smart watch and decided now was the time to jump in. The Google Watch 2 syncs seamlessly with th emy Pixel 6Pro and offers a raft of health monitoring features, which is what I wanted it for.

"I am now tracking my sleep and excersice and even taking regular ECGs (I have some hypertension I need to monitor) with it which has enabled me to make some better lifestyle choices to reduce my problems in that area.

"My only real issues are the size which is a tad small for my big wrists, and the battery life which I'd say is around 26-28hrs, so a full day, but that said it charges so quickly that even if I don't have the 40 mins for a full charge right away, a quick 10 min top up will get me though the day.

"Oveerall I positive experience which I'd recommend if you want to track your activity, sleep and other health metrics. If you are not into this then it becomes just a watch and you maye get better value for moey elsewhere. But for me, its great!"
