Thank You, Montreal! Together, We Raised Over $90,000 to Help End Breast Cancer!
After a month-long journey of raising awareness and funds for breast cancer, The Beat 92.5 is thrilled to announce that we’ve raised an impressive $90,934 to support breast cancer research and services.
With overwhelming support from listeners and partners, we raised our goal twice, from $25,000 to $33,000, and then ultimately to $35,000 – each time met with incredible generosity from Montrealers. Thanks to the La Vie en Rose Foundation’s commitment to match donations, they, too, increased their contribution from $25,000 to $35,000, amplifying the impact of every dollar raised.
In early October, The Beat Breakfast Club co-hosts made a bold move to spark awareness by dying their hair pink at Oway Coiffure Spa, launching a conversation around breast cancer and showing their commitment to the cause.
The Beat Breakfast Club co-hosts kicked off the month with a powerful gesture: dying their hair pink at Oway Coiffure Spa to spark conversation.
Later, they took it a step further by shaving their heads live on air at the MUHC, bringing heartfelt stories from our community to the forefront.
Throughout the month, we got to have exclusive interviews with Dr. Meterissian and MUHC Foundation President & CEO Marie-Hélène Laramée, where Mark and Lee explored recent advancements in breast cancer treatment and discussed the hospital's essential services.

Additionally, The Beat hosts joined the Pink in the City Gala, a memorable evening of support, where Lee brought his trademark energy as the live auction host.
This campaign would not have been possible without Montreal’s incredible support. Your stories, donations, and encouragement have helped us make a real impact. Thank you for standing with us – we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved together.
Can we count on you to make next year even more extraordinary?
