Fox News hosts Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt got engaged ...
How celebrities are celebrating the holidays
From holiday movies and favorite meals to decorating their homes, USA TODAY has the scoop on how the biggest stars are celebrating the holidays.
Sean Hannity celebrated the holidays by popping the question to fellow host Ainsley Earhardt.
The cable-TV anchors got engaged over the Christmas holiday, the couple revealed to their employer, Fox News, in an interview Thursday.
Hannity, 62, proposed to the "Fox & Friends" host at their home church, a reflection of the shared faith that brought the lovebirds together. The couple said they got the blessing of their children, who "couldn't be happier" for them.
"We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives," the couple, who have been dating privately for several years, told Fox.
Earhardt, 48, is based in New York, while the conservative talk radio show host notably moved to "the free state of Florida" from New York earlier this year. Fox noted both have long-term deals to stay with the network and will continue to work from their respective states.
Hannity was previously married to Jill Rhodes from 1993 to 2019, and has two children — a son and daughter — from the relationship. Earhardt was previously married to former Clemson University quarterback Will Proctor from 2012 to 2019, and they have one daughter. Earhardt's first marriage was to Kevin McKinney, from 2005 to 2009.
The couple said they "still get along well" with their previous spouses. "Everyone is supportive of each other," they told the outlet. "We actually made them aware this was happening ahead of time."
